CBCA builds the content for all the exams from a variety of industry-wide survey feedback contributed by our team of volunteer subject matter experts. This highly rigorous and in depth exam development process represents a multitude of hours spent to develop something that exceeds knowledge standards expected by the industry itself. In addition, the exam-delivery, management and security standards adopted by CBCA are aligned to the most stringent of the international credential-testing standards including those of the CLEAR, ICE, the NCCA and the ANSI 17024:2012, and managed by experts with experience of delivering thousands of high–stakes exams every year across the globe for business and non-business clients.
CBCA demands a few key activities from all its exam-developers and external exam-delivery partners:
Subject matter experts are highly used in focus groups, item writing sessions and item review sessions. CBCA estimates that around 5,000 subject matter expert hours are consumed to develop one exam.
A team of trained Exam Technologists assist in the development, review, and maintenance of the Exam interface and delivery of a CBCA exam. This mostly avoids exam-taking being encumbered or disrupted by technological factors, and ensures that examinees have a smooth exam-taking experience, without any disturbances because of technical difficulties.
Our team of specially trained experts design the standards of environment in which certification exams must be ideally taken or delivered. These professionals work closely with the Exam Security Experts to ensure the upkeep of the integrity of certification-testing.
